THE KANSAS CITY JAZZ IS GOING GREEN, YES THAT'S RIGHT, WE HAVE TAKEN THE INITATIVE AS A FOOTBALL TEAM AND ORGANIZATION TO DO OUR PART IN SAVING OUR households, schools and communities to save our planet. Please visit our "phoneraiser" link as it features the "Going Green" initative to realize that every little bit does help. We encourage you to spread the word that Going Green tries to convey. The world is a fine thing and worth fighting for. WE HAVE STARTED OUR DRIVE TO COLLECT OLD AND UNUSED CELL PHONES AND INK CARTRIGES THAT USUALLY GET THROWN IN THE TRASH TO MAKE THIS A FUNDRAISER FOR THE FOOTBALL TEAM.

The Kansas City Jazz just completed their facility walkthrough of Roosevelt Field and found that there is some work to do, but overall very doable. Locker rooms are large; Press box includes corporate boxes for sponsors, a cafeteria? a Gym? a Theater? Hmm loving it. The possibilities are endless and we the Jazz are going to make the best of it! Stay tuned.

The Kansas City Jazz will be the first minor league team to own their own sports facility by making the future of the Jazz brighter, not changing minor league football! We are continually making strides to take over ownership of the Historic Roosevelt Sports facility located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. This will be monumental for the organization as we will be able to market the facility to potential sponsors, highlight our logo on the facility, have team locker rooms, team office, to provide entertainment venues for the fans, control concessions, lease to other organizations for use, and call this our permanent home. We are diligently working with the city officials and current facility owner to make this possibility a true dream come true. We will keep posting the progress of this venture and hope to have the facility Permit within our hands within the next 60 days.
